As we approach the hackathon, I wanted to share some resources with you that I believe will be helpful for your data analysis and visualization tasks.

For data analysis and visualization tools, I frequently use Matplotlib or plotly in Python, ggplot2 in R, MS PowerBI, and Tableau. To help you get started, I have included links to websites that provide a guide on Python and R visualization ideas and tools with codes.

Python: https://www.python-graph-gallery.com/

R: https://r-graph-gallery.com/

For Power BI, you can use Microsoft's documentation available here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/service-get-started

As for Tableau, I recommend using their official website to get started: https://help.tableau.com/current/guides/get-started-tutorial/en-us/get-started-tutorial-home.htm

Please keep in mind that Tableau requires a paid license, so I suggest using Tableau Public, which is a free platform that allows you to share visualizations online publicly.

I also wanted to remind you that we have a Discord channel set up for this hackathon, which you can join using this link https://discord.gg/r2mcJjGm5D The Discord server has various voice channels for you to collaborate with your team members and ask any questions related to the hackathon.

Remember, you will need to submit a video and your code, which will be reviewed on the basis of various criteria by the judges. We wish you all the best of luck and look forward to seeing your final submissions.

Best regards,

Arya Patel

Director of CANIS Data Analysis Hackathon
